Hi, I am Mike. Traveler, dad, and the founder of the Touropia travel blog. Touropia features the most amazing sights around the world divided into various “best of” lists. I enjoy reading lists and enjoy traveling so why not put these two together. Topics can range from landscapes, ancient monuments, islands, wildlife, countries and anything else that is interesting. I create these lists for entertainment purposes but also to provide a sense of what there is to see in a country, city or continent and hope they are useful as a starting point for your next great travel journey.
With such a large coverage of destinations it is impossible for me to have visited all of them. So I also rely on the travel experiences of other people when putting together these travel lists. And I also appreciate suggestions and feedback from readers because everybody will have their own amazing travel experiences.
Touropia also has a Youtube Channel were I feature many of the lists found on this website.

We watched the 23 Caribbean video in the WELLZESTA system for Mercy Ridge seniors. It was good but it hurt. In the past we were scuba divers and had visited 20 of them. We know our age prevents any future diving but the video hurt our potential to visit the islands again to dive. We have videos and photos from many of them. Thank you

This is a great website overall. My favorite lists are the ones that go over the different regions. The only downside is that there are a lot of countries without any content. Otherwise, great job, keep up the good work!

I just came back from visiting Caño Cristales,, La Macarena in the State of Meta and the State of Quindío: Filandia, Córdoba, Buenavista and the Botanical Gardens in Calarcá. Great coffee everywhere. I recently discovered Touropia and have shared it with family. This is our new Encyclopedia of our world. This would make an awesome, digital gallery. Take it to old buildings in small towns to promote travel and exploration. Bldg with digital monitors and refreshments – lounge for families, friends and those unable to travel.
