Just over a ten-minute walk from Heidelberg train station, Star Inn Hotel & Suites Premium is a bit further from the center but the nearby tram stops of Rudolf-Diesel-Straße and Montpellierbrucke make it pretty easy to get around. The Alte Brucke and Heidelberg castle are about four kilometers away.

Practically a hop, skip and a jump to Heidelberg’s Old Town, Hotel Panorama is also located near the banks of the Neckar river, and therefore the Neckarstrand – or Neckar Beach – which is a perfect spot for soaking up the local atmosphere in summer. The Alte Brucke isn’t too far from this hotel, either.
The rooms here may not be luxurious, but they are clean and contemporary. There’s a laid back restaurant onsite serving up simple meals, and breakfast, plus there’s also a bar. Here on business? Kongresshaus Stadthalle is under a ten-minute walk away, but there’s also a bus stop right outside the hotel.

If you’re in Heidelberg for history, then why not stay in your very own slice of it? Hotel Zum Ritter St. Georg is housed in a building that incredibly dates back to 1592, and boasts a gorgeous facade that’s a sight to see in itself.
The rooms are simple and unfussy, but the restaurant feels like a piece of the traditional side of Heidelberg.
